If you could pick anyone’s brain about life in leadership and ministry, who would it be and why? And where would you take them to chat?
For me:
Kay Warren. Totally love her heart for hurting people, the church, and pastor’s wives. They have road miles in ministry. They know what it is like to minister to the culture of the West Coast. She has found her passion, what God has called her to do, and she is getting after it. Their kids love Jesus and the church. And she seems like an encourager.
If we were in Vegas, I would probably haul her off to one of the casinos. Maybe grab a Chai Tea Latte from Starbucks and walk the gardens at the Bellagio. Or if I was really daring, I would pull her up to the MIXX on top of The Hotel. The view is amazing.
What about you?

Lois Evans ( http://www.loisevans.org/site/c.nkI2KhMWItF/b.2184457/k.5292/First_Lady_Conference.htm ) and her daughter Priscilla Shirer ( http://goingbeyond.com/home.asp ).
I read Kay Warrens book and it chenged my thinking in so many ways.
For me it would be Ed Young. I could sit and listen to him and learn from him for hours! Although, since he’s of the opposite sex – maybe Ed and his wife could double date with me and my hubby at a vineyard on top of a hill or even sitting on our boat in the middle of a lake.
I bet Ed and Lisa would love that Angie … they seem like relaxing on the boat kinda people.
I would love to talk to Lois Evans too. They do awesome ministry!
Honestly, I’d like to have that chai latte with you, Lori :0)
Ooh … let’s do it Shara! When are you coming to Vegas?
Oh, mscampbell5 took my answer—I’d love to just meet you and hang out with you and Jud. My husband and I tried to talk Jud into bringing you to Charleston for your anniversary—but then again, we wouldn’t want to crash an anniversary trip!
I think I would also like to meet with Ed Young and his wife. They seem to be a good team when they co-teach.
I’d really like to meet with some big time church leaders’ wives—the behind the scenes women that support their husband AND let their husbands lead them even when they know their husband’s faults. I’d like to learn about ministering to the family in balance to leading a church.
Okay, I just thought of mine. It would be Ruth Graham Bell. I know she is no longer living, but if she was that is who it would be, Of course I would love about 7 hours with Billy Graham.
