The Bachelorette aka My Monday Night Indulgence.
Forever and a day ago, I watched the Bachelor. Then abandoned it and got on a very cozy soapbox because I hated watching girls act like idiots to try to win some guy they barely know … and would break-up with before the season even started to air. (Case in point … the the hideousness which was Jason last season.)
But then came The Bachelorette … and you know what? It doesn’t bother me one bit to watch a bunch of guys act like idiots trying to win a girl they barely know … and will break up with before the season even starts to air.
I’ve been sucked back into the vortex which is The Bachelor and The Bachelorette. First that DeAnna made me interested. Then I thought Jason was great … before I discovered he was a royal disappointment. And now, I have Jillian … with her great sense of fashion and quirky Canadian accent. It is pure summer TV heaven. And I have Boo Mama recaps to look forward to the next day.

So guilty- sometimes it hurts so bad- much worse than an eyebrow wax and sometimes the cheese factor starts to make me laugh. But through all of the ups and downs of this Monday night madness- I have even been known to shed a few tears!

Jillian was my favorite pick last season so it’s nice to see her doing the choosing this time. I’m trying to do this season spoiler free. Not sure if I can make it the whole season but I’m trying. Tanner (foot fetish) and Mike (needs anger management) both need to be sent packing soon!
I’m with you, I love the watching the Bachelorette. I think it’s silly but I can’t stop watching it.

That Tanner is killing me with his foot thing! I was gagging Monday night with his foot sucking comments. You know how I feel about feet.

On the last episode, I missed that whole “unicorn” bit. Andy said, “Do you want me to rewind it?” I said, “That’s okay, I’ll just read Boomama.” Andy was like, “What…boo…what?”
So glad to hear I’m not alone.
Fun stuff! I didn’t watch this, but I became an immediate and ongoing Twilight addict (almost embarressingly so — I reread it a few times, something I NEVER do…!) Keeps life fun!
I don’t watch bachelor/bachelorette either one, but I do watch Grey’s Anatomy and that is just a plain old soap opera that is certainly a guilty pleasure!
I am right there with you! My two guilty pleasures of all time is def. The Bachelor/Bachelorette and Grey’s Anatomy. I have been watching the Bachelor/Bachelorette since it first started and I was hooked, every season is different and some seasons I can’t get into. But I am loving this season with Jillian. I agree with the ladies here, Tanner is making me sick…the foot fetish is just making me gag. And Dave is working my last nerve with the whole Juan situation, I just want to tell him to mind his business. Other then that, I do have my few favorites already…Kytpon, Jake, Wes, and Robby! Jake is holding on by a string, there is something about him that I am not sure whether it creeps me out or it is just as simple as that and he is falling for her (hard)! We shall see as the weeks come!
