Last week we talked about living in the heat vs the cold. Now, living a place is one thing, but vacationing is another … or is it?
I’m a beach girl. No doubt about it. Nothing more miserable than strapping on snow skies and freezing all day. Maybe it is just me … of course, I’m one of those that would choose the heat to live in.
So this week … would you rather vacation to the beach or to the snow-capped mountains?

i have to admit i love both! curling up in a chair at the edge of the ocean with a book… awesome! wind hitting my face as i hit the slopes… equally awesome!

How about N. Cali, forest and beach, but cool/cold.
I have to think about beach v. mountains. There is so much in either place that I love. I do have to say I far perfer cold and love skiing. But, I also love the beach, not to go in the water though. (I have an inexplicable fear of the ocean plus I hate how sand gets plastered on you when you swim in the ocean). I love picking up shells etc and taking pictures.
Beach, beach, beach! Love the waves, wind, water, sand, and sun! Married to a ski snob, so I’m forced to split my vacation time.
I love the beach, but I won’t pass up time in the mountains either. I do love to ski and it’s fun to do it with my hubby, although he is far better than I am. If it came down to choice, I would always choose the beach!
Beach, sand, sun . . . or sitting on a boat in the middle of a lake with no snow anywhere in sight.

Living until last year near Buffalo, I’m a bit tired of winter!! The sun and warmth, even in Cincinnati is soooo much better!!
The beach if its not hot (and I would love it even more if I could avoid the sand). I love the ocean, the smell of the sun tan lotion and the salty air, but without the heat, muddy water or sand. LOL
