On a ski trip with my high school youth group me and several other girls worked for weeks and weeks on a choreographed dance to Janet Jacksons Rhythm Nation. We made sweatshirts had this cool dancer guy come in and help us choreograph it and practice. I must admit it was really fun, but oh how nerdy it looks now.:) Yes, We had HUGE bangs while we performed this dance.
Oh Missy I love it! I bet those pictures are awesome!!
oh Lori…that is too funny! Every year when a new group of seniors would graduate high school we would sing “Carry your candle” and hold up our candles high at the very end…super dramatic…and very funny. I have several of these:)
Middle school drill team–complete with yellow and black pom poms, and a black BOWLER DERBY!! Aaahhh! We did awesome dances to songs like the Pointer Sisters’ “Neutron Dance”. What a happy kid I was…
I don’t think I have ever been described as ultra cool anything! LOL
Lane that is so funny. I think we did something similar at our church. After I read this I went and sang that song to Jud and unfortunately we got it stuck in our heads the rest of the night!
Tiff … I want to see a Neutron Dance ASAP.
And Cyndi … I don’t believe it. I’m thinking that you just haven’t done anything quite so dorky!
lol My friends and I performed “Lean On Me” the DC Talk version in front of our entire youth group. We had 2 guys do the rap part while we sang the melody. We thought we were “ultra cool” for sure!!!
LOL. Your probably right which is why I have never been called Ultra Cool.
