Yesterday I asked all my friends in Twitter-verse to suggest some great get-to-know-you questions.
Loved this one from @ktreth:
If you had to live in a chain retail store, which one would it be?
Me? I’d live in Barnes and Noble. No question.
Why? Well, there’s obviously a zillion books. There are comfy chairs. And there is a Starbucks. Oh and bathrooms … they have relatively clean bathrooms.
What about you?

You can connect with Brandi via
fun questions! I’d live in Target-plenty to do, and a little snack shop-plus some groceries too.
G
Walmart. I know everyone hates Walmart but I would never run out of food, could wear some half way descent clothing (yes, I shop for clothing at Walmart). They have restrooms and a Subway….so I might lose weight.
Oh, plus they have a eye shop so if my glasses break they can fix them or give me a new pair. Plus they have an atm so I can get money to pay for all of this stuff. LOL Oh, and I could scrapbook, read a book or magazine and watch tv in the electronics section.
Oh man..this is hard. But I would also have to say Target. I can never leave that place anyway without spending $100 or more so why not live there. LOL!
Lori I’m with you! Barnes and Noble. And don’t forget–free wifi!
Ooh, I’m feeling torn…. gotta admit, I want to say something cool like Barnes and Noble…. however, I’m going to go with Cyndi on this one and say Walmart. I feel like I practically live there some weeks anyway, so I guess that’s the direction I’ll go on this one!
Assuming I can leave and get my Starbucks elsewhere I might also like to live at a Crate and Barrel furniture store. Aaah. I love their stuff. Would mind sitting on their cool couches ad eating on their cool tables.
And yep, Cyndi, I’m a Wal-Mart loather. I have to MAKE myself go there when I need something.
OK–I’m weird–I would take a sporting goods store–a big one (like Dick’s Sporting Goods). Great comfy clothes, could work out, have some fun playing with all the ‘toys’…and I would even have all the meals I wanted with no prep in the camping section!
I would say Target or Wal-Mart, I really like Super Target, but we don’t have any of those up north!
My GOTO store where I can get a lot of what I need would have to be Macy’s & there is ALWAYS some sort of sale. But the store I probably LOVE to go to the most would have to be Barnes and Noble. I could spend all day in there. I love it. Where we live now I no longer have one anywhere remotely close. My husband said it’s because God was trying to break my addition to the store!
Well I hate to say something that’s already been said but I too would pick Barnes and Nobel. I am a book junkie, and at any givin time have at least three I’m reading. Right now it’s Sense and Sensibility, The Lovely Bones and Overcoming Dyslexia(my oldest daughter is dyslexic) anyway with Starbucks hooked on it’s perfection.
I would probably choose Lululemon … comfiest and cutest workout clothes EVER!!! And the workout classes at the store would be a bonus. Obviously not a super-practical choice (no food – yikes) but I love going in there whenever I have the chance.
And since I’m already being impractical, second choice would be Anthropologie – still no food, but their candles smell so good, and I would love to be surrounded by all the beautiful clothes!
I’m going with Ikea… Swedish meatballs and lots of comfy beds!
I hate to admit this….but we live in a small town and really all we have is a WalMart and I am already saying that I feel like I live there, not sure if that is where I would want to live if I could choose though. Fun question!
I Love me some Target but now that we moved….grr Walmart is what i got. There is a Target that is in my future about 30 minutes away
I think Ikea would be a lot of fun!
You got food, and I would pick up the coffee B4 heading in. The store is never ending.
Runner up would be Pottery Barn
Hmmm…either….
Barnes and Noble
Target (with Starbucks)
Old Navy
Any craft store
Sorry…couldn’t just choose one! And those are in no particular order
I would have to say Target – perferably one with a Starbucks inside. After that I’m thinking “World of Disney” in downtown Disney.
without a doubt… TARGET! just being there makes me smile!
I would say Costco. They have food, water, books, pop, beds, furniture (even chairs that give you a back massage), cookware, shoes, exercise machines, microwaves, clothes, sheets, blankets, towels, computers, t.v.s, cameras, and once I visited one and it had coffins too. Seriously, coffins? Yup.
A little creepy but just proof that they got it all……oh, and some of them even have a car in them! When they have pets I am soooooo moving in.
I’m with you!!! Barnes and Noble!!!!!
100% Target! LOVE IT!
