My name is Lori. My husband Jud serves as the Senior Pastor at Central Christian Church in Las Vegas. We’ve been in ministry and leadership together over 13 years. We love getting to be part of God changing Sin City into Grace City. We have two kids Emma, 8 years old, and Ethan, 6 years old. We also have the world’s cutest bulldog, Roxy. I’m slightly Jane Austen obsessed and think “The Office” and “Glee” are the funniest shows on TV.
Brandi has been a pastor’s wife for 13 years. She’s married to Pete who’s the Senior Pastor at Cross Point Church in Nashville, Tennessee. Cross Point is a 7 year old church plant with two (soon to be three) multi-site campuses. Pete and Brandi have three boys- Jett (8), Gage (5), and Brewer (3). When Brandi isn’t wrangling boys she enjoys reading, knitting, social-networking, and spending time with friends.

Lori,
My sweet friend Shannon told me to check out your site. We were both missionaries in Mexico at the same time. Your posts are are like breath of fresh air and help me not to waller in my self pity and this only happens to me mentality! I’m looking forward to learning more from the blog and things that you and the bloggers are experiencing in life!
Blessings,
Michal
Hi! My name is Alex Snyder. My husband Jamie, is the senior pastor of New Day Christian Church in Port Charlotte FL. I am so excited I have been referred to your site! I have just skimmed through a few of your posts but I am thankful for the community already. We all need the encouragement and chance to connect with one another. I look forward to getting to know all of you! And yes I know it is confusing but I am Alex and he is Jamie.
Hello from Nashville. I’m Brandi and my husband is senior pastor at http://www.crosspoint.tv . Love the blog and will be checking back regularly! Fun concept.

Hi Lori,
I was just introduced to your blog and I’ll be adding it to my favorites! My husband is the Senior Pastor at Crosswinds Community Church in Bloomington, IL. I believe that Chris Trethewey is on your staff. We were good friends of the family when they lived in Bloomington, IL, and attended Eastview Christian Church.
Hi Lori– thanks for posting on the new Clutch blog for pastor’s wives. We’d love to include you via guest posts, interviews,…whatever you feel like doing. I looked all over for your email address… will you email me so we can chat about it?
Looking forward to the discussion on your blog re: The Shack! Awesome read.
I definitely agree about “The Office” comment!
Hi lori!
I’m from Edinburgh, Scotland. I love your blog. It’s really nice to get to know some of the female bloggers of the world. I think Ricky Gervais is great, he has got a real mischeivous down to earth sense of humour!
I really enjoyed Las Vegas. I guess it is possible to be a light anywhere on earth.
My friend, Michal told me about this website and I have to admit I was a bitskeptical. I thought it might be a little too “churchy” for me. To be honest, I have found some pastor’s wives a little boring. Almost like you walk away thinking that they keep you at arm’s length with religious subterfuge. Afraid that if you get to really know her you will find she isn’t perfect. Well, heck I have been in ministry for 20 years and my congregation learned a long time ago that I am not perfect! Anyway, I checked it out and the first thing I saw was your question about musical flavor and I admit I was thinking “Jars of Clay, Casting Crowns, blah, blah, blah” and then I saw the Twilight Soundtrack (which I just finished reading) was your favorite and I was impressed. I love your openess and transparanency. It is very encouraging!
Thanks,
Andrea
Okay, I have to know where you got your Forks, Washington t-shirt! My 15 year-old daughter will hate it if I get one because her friends think it is “wierd” that her mom is reading those books too! But I want one anyway. Too cute!
Hey Lori! I have been following your blog for several months now and love it! I would love to ask you some questions about the ministry you had for pregnant teens. I must be a little blog illiterate though because I can’t figure out how to send you a message.
Hello from England. My husband & I have only been leading a church for 1 year, so quite new at this. http://www.kingszone.co.uk Really enjoying the blog – thank you for writing
