I strongly believe in this ministry! I am involved in a similar ministry here. Ours is called Pregnancy Resource Center in Owasso. FCC started it about 22 or so years ago. It is such a vital ministry to our community. They see hundreds of girls every year. God is changing lives thru you Laurie!! Bless you!!

You know you’re a pastor’s wife when random people come up to you and ask: where’s the first aid kit? Where are the kids going to stand on the stage to sing?; Where are the streets in my area that need a letterbox drop? And my personal favourite: why has the garbage truck not come to collect the big bin?!! Umm, no idea for any of the above. People just expect me to ‘know’!

I’m with Cindy – the cuss word thing! One time I just said, “Yeah, you’d better be careful. I’ve NEVER heard that before.” while laying the sarcasm on really, really thick. The guy looked a bit shocked before he realized I was kidding! It was funny.

You know you’re a pastor’s wife when someone says a cuss word and then immediately covers their mouth, looks at you and says, “I’m so sorry!”

As if I’ve never heard a cuss word. Or said one for that matter.

You know you are a PW when your 3 yr old son takes the church elevator upstairs and finds his way through the building back to you downstairs all by himself! Freaked out Mommy but proud little PK kid! We ought to sign him up to volunteer for First-time visitors during our Christmas services.

My problem is not that I don’t give- a- hooter…it’s that I don’t slow down for five seconds to give -a -hoot to anyone else but myself.

…here’s to “hooting” for others….that means “love’ incase none of that made any sense….which wouldn’t surprise me if it didn’t:)

Ha ha! This makes me feel so much better Brandi. Go into my bag and you’ll find pens for contraception drug companies, medical organisations, pregnancy advice services, at least 2 scottish pregnancy crisis centres…from getting them free at different conferences and events.

GREAT to have in your bag as a single Christian lady! eek!
